For over 30 years the annual fireworks display at Eugene Cross Park has helped many charities and good causes. Having raised over £100,000 during this period, the monies raised have supported organisations and charities including, Hospice of the Valleys, Pen y Cwm Special School, Ysbyty Tri Chwm, St Johns Ambulance, The Firefighters Charity, Beaufort Rise Foodbank, Alzheimers society, along with a host of other youth sporting and community groups.
Although, primarily run by Ebbw Vale Fire Station, several other local business and community groups have assisted with the event. Ebbw Vale Cricket Club, Ebbw Vale Crime Prevention Committee and Gwent Police have been very supportive partners of ours over the past few years. Local businesses have and continue to sell tickets for the event.
The general public have been really supportive of the event and made it what it has become today.
We hope to continue to deliver a great fireworks event that enables us to give back to the community and support charities, youth groups and organisations we're all passionate about.
